Join Patti Ratcliffe for a day-long oil painting workshop. All skill levels are welcome! In this class we will review the basics like composition, values, edges, color, and brush stroke, as well as watch a short demonstration on how to start from the often intimidating blank canvas. Learn how to mix green with black and yellow to create a plethora of new shades. Each student will pick their preferred still life set up, crop for canvas size, and begin their own still life painting with expert instruction from Patti. There will be a lunch break in the middle of class so please bring your lunch or plan to pick something up nearby.
